Miles' Renaissance Session

Last night I met up with a friend to take some photos of her almost-3-year-old son at the KC Ren Fest.  She'd warned me about having some difficult sessions with other photographers in the past, so I prepped for the worst, but I couldn't imagine how this guy could give me a hard time.  We started off trying to choose locations based on what would look good in pictures, but Miles wasn't having it (understandably, what 3 year old wants to be told what to do when there's so much room to run?).  So we switched tactics and I let him choose where we went.  We played hide and seek.  He showed me how high he could climb and how he could catch and throw a ball.  We had an absolute blast, and I can't wait to take his photos again.
